Future DVDs could hold 100 times more information than current discs.

Imperial College London researchers in the UK are developing a new way of storing data that could lead to discs capable of holding 1,000 gigabytes.

DVDs will soon be left behind by much better technologies.

Well, there was clay, but that's history.


I love compact flash, and wish that zip disks were the rule, but not so thick, and they should have come with write protect tabs, big mistake not to have. (CFs also.)
