If my memory serves... Amino paid Gateway $5,000,000 for the following; All the Amiga International stocks - ie:) A1200 Magic packs, spares etc The rights to the Amiga name, trademarks and symbols forever. The rights to all the classic AmigaOS programs and sources. A licence to use all the patents held by Gateway that had been transferred over from Esscom.
I think thats about it.

What interrest would these patents hold today? Most of them where acquired in the '85-'91 region. Also many are OS related..
Most of the Amiga patents are expired by now. But even still valid ones are of no use as long as nobody enforces them, for example when MorphOS was released the Amiga menu patents (and probably a lot more MorphOS uses) were not expired yet, and I very much doubt they had a licence to use them
