Well I agree it is a bit early for a world tour, but I do not believe at the moment we will see Amiga shows for a while 
After the way I was treated by Commodore I would love to be involved in promoting new Amiga's, and not those badge only models coming.

You are welcome to visit California, USA any time and stay on my couch. Actually I have an extra bedroom that is not being used where you are welcome to stay for any visit you could plan.
I can't help out with the travel costs, (mostly because I am buying an X1000 myself) but just saying if you are able to make it here, you won't need a hotel room and I will feed you all the American food you can stand to eat, along with what ever brand of beer you prefer.
Maybe you would return the favor if I ever return to the UK. My last visit to London was far too brief.
Is there no more info about the actual presentation this past weekend? Tell us more of what happened, what was shown running on the X1000 and how many people were there. How did most of them feel after the presentation.
I am anxious to receive notice from AmigaKit regarding my own purchase and how soon the "First Contact" X1000's will begin shipping. It will be my first OS4 computer and will be a great addition to my Amiga collection (which I am reducing if any one is interested in buying more Classic Amiga's or Zorro cards for them). I had the menu selection option set to blocking, which is the default. This meant when pressing menu button paused the video. However, in the settings this can be changed so it does not happen. I learned a lot that day.
