Working as advertised now on Windows XP ..had some trouble at first but playing well now in Winamp (both audio AND video) didn't know it did both.

The VLN player played audio only . The Windows Media player did nothing.

It will be nice to put faces to the names so often seen here on AW too. Several peopl are "mugging" for the camera ...Fun stuff!

Some techie Observations:
The sound is "booming" a bit and hard to understand the voices but still really GREAT feed.
The camera is having trouble dealing with the bright light from the windows and the less well lighted areas.
(Thought it was cloudy & rained in England all the time? )

As mentioned by BinoX in post #43 below I too keep getting booted off the stream or back to "10% buffering" then booted. Oh, pulling the curtains did help with the lighting but putting the camera in front of the window facing into the darker room would be best, if possible. Hope I can get back in.....AND the alt URL does NOT seem to be working at all

Seems there's far too many disconnects really...

I WAS attempting to record the stream, but even my stream recorder has crashed now.. lol

Not that I'm able to connect at the moment again anyway :(

This might be helpful to others:

The audio on Winamp is very garbled and almost impossible to understand ...

BUT

Switching to the AW radio and listening there using MusicMatch worked AMAZINGLY well!

Theres no wordwrap in these doucments so please use something like notepad on os4.

Winamp 2.xx was great, but now its a bloated piece of crap. I use XMplay now. The default skin sucks, so grab the MMD3 skin right away. It plays EVERYTHING, even old, obscure MOD formats like .669 and .ULT. It also has a low memory footprint.

To all mac users who tried to watch the feed. The vp61 codec which the stream used (and which almost all shoutcast winamp video streams use) is not compatable with macs yet. It is a windows only codec. The best you can do is get an older version of the vlc player and listen to audio only since the video is not supported.

For mac ppc users who really want to watch the stream you will need to get a copy of virtual pc and download winamp within it. For intel mac users theres not much luck. Parallels may be compatable with winamp but you'd have to check.
