Depending what you had in mind to develop you still have options. There are a few of us with multiple boards that we lend out to worthy developers. There is also the option of working with Hyperion and getting a board that direction. These are all existing A1 boards of course.

If you are just curious and a hobby developer I admit your options are more limited. You'll either have to find a used A1 board or wait for some new hardware. There are a some cross-compilers available but I know it isn't much fun trying to develop something without the target platform right there to test on.

Note that if you want to live on the edge and have some relevant experience you might want to email the SAM440 team and try to get in on the beta testing team.

Yep, I guess so. When people were asking about Troika having a license or not, that was also the first which came to my mind: If they would have a license, they would immediately make a big news announcement of it. We would be able to download (free!!) Panda posters with OS4/Amiga-logos on it, etc... Heck, they even announced that they bought some off-the-shelf RAM in their local shop - so I guess that a success in license negotiations would justify for a news release.

'Interesting peculiarities' doesn't translate too well either. Unless they really did mean latex.

'Peculiairities' tends to denote a negative... something odd or unusual, but not in a favourable way.

'Unique features' would be a wiser choice.

BTW. I don't care about any errors in HTML, that is not the issue here. Its the information on SAM440 that is important.

A little tip perhaps:

On the product page you have arranged your 4 icons like this:

(table width="100%")
(td) icon1 (/td)
(td) icon2 (/td)
(td) icon3 (/td)
(td) icon4 (/td)

That gives the icon-td's with the most text, the most space.

You can orden it better like this:

(table width="100%")
(td width="25%) icon1 (/td)
(td width="25%) icon2 (/td)
(td width="25%) icon3 (/td)
(td width="25%) icon4 (/td)

Or you can change the percentage like this:

(table width="100%")
(td width="30%) icon1 (/td)
(td width="30%) icon2 (/td)
(td width="20%) icon3 (/td)
(td width="20%) icon4 (/td)

And for the text below you can add this to put it vertical up:

valign="top" , and that becomes:

(td valign="top" align="center") text (/td)

Nice site. However, please take the advice from Slash onboard (about the jpg compression being so obvious on all the menu graphics). It should take only minutes to adjust this.
