:)

Well, I guess it's time for all of the US announcements to start. That answers my question. I wasn't sure if we were first or not (almost were). I guess we will be the first in the Southeast area.

Good luck Russ.

Do you think they'll get many people turning up? :)

I assumed because it was New York, you may get more. But i suppose the support in the US is far less than Austrlalia and Europe especialy. 40 is about the same number we got at the melbourne show - population 3 million odd.

But maybe because the OS has progressed more, it'll interest more people?

You know i had a good idea just now. Maybe AROS should start attending these Amiga shows? Maybe not the OS4 tours, but shows like AmiWest etc... Linux has representers at big tech shows and the Amiga shows could be a good way to promote AROS to the outside world, and inside world who may not know about AROS (as a lot of Amigians dont i assume)...

Back on topic, maybe you'd get less because people have already seen it? I wish you all the luck. Maybe some advertising at some local Uni's will get a few people in?

If you'r showcasing the mini-itx A1, that'd surly get lotsa people in. If you mention its the worlds only mini-itx ppc board!! Its a nich we must exploit :)

Best of luck to you!

In Melbourne old (and sometimes lapsed!!) mailing lists, and membership lists were used to spread the word.

If you can afford any advertising - start with:
"Did YOU once own an Amiga? or, do you have one tucked away in storage?"

{ rest of advert }
