What a great concept! Thank you MikeB (and obviously to the author of the report) for posting this up. That is seriously one great event! Wonder if it could ever be organised in Australia?

But I don't think any opponent would want to sit next to me when I am losing

@ MikeB

Ah... spewin'! I hate that, when you don't know about something and then soon after you find out about it.

Hello guys,

I am the author of that article. I an glad you liked it. I always loved KO2 and the Amiga and I think this event is one of the best you can find. Basically, I know there are people all over the world who would like to participate in such a tournament but it's impossible to locate each one.

That's why I decided to contact Philip in the AmigaFlame. Keep in mind that through the forums in the site that we have, people can contact other KO2 fans and in many cases in find out that they live in the same city.

Tournaments take place quite often in places like England, Spain, Greece, Italy, Norway, Germany, Holland and many others.

Oh, I forgot to mention that people also play KO2 through winUAE and KAILLERA! . There is a special section in our forums for that.

A very important thing to know is that our activities are not just limited to KO2. There is the fun element as well. In Groningen for example we spent hours and hours in the 3 Sisters Bar drinking beer and admiring the gorgeous Dutch women ! We discussed about classic Amiga games and we also bring ORIGINAL Amiga disks to preserve for the C.A.P.S.

God, I love those events...
