Events   Events : OS4 & MicroA1 Demo New York Dec 19th 8pm
posted by Russ on 6-Dec-2003 16:34:35 (2086 reads)
For the first time in the USA Mr. Hardware Computers will be presenting the MicroA1 (aka AmigaOne Lite) motherboard. It is being shipped in directly from Taiwan. Arrival time will be close. We will also be showing OS4 running on an AmigaOne.

This is LICA's (Long Island Computing Amigans) Christmas pizza party. We will have door prizes and Mr. Hardware Computers will have Amiga items for sale, even AmigaOne motherboards and Catweasels. All are welcomed. Directions are on our website:

It seems people are still confused how to name the little baby. Well, you can say what you want, but at least the competition knows the importance of naming conventions and marketing. However, I am not partisan and I believe both products have their own set of qualities

I think the problem is twofold: first, the name was changed after the big buzz started (ie after most people had found out about it), and secondly, the name "Lite" is not that bad, so I don't know why Alan decided to change it; usually "Lite" things are good for you, and most ads for "Lite" things have pictures of good-looking girls in them
