Or perhaps a guy with a big shtick stood next to the computer!
Is it not possible to put critical stuff on a usb memory stick incase you do have to recover? Or perhaps a second (small) hd you can stick in as master, copy stuff back to the main drive then remove the backup drive.

| The "protect" command should prove quite useful IIRC
- edit - no, hold on, not "protect", I mean "lock".
