Hardware News   Hardware News : Deathbed Vigil on DVD
posted by _Steve_ on 24-Oct-2002 21:57:20 (3216 reads)
Dave Haynie wrote in the comp.sys.amiga.harwdware newsgroup: "I'm in the final stages of the preparation of a DVD edition of "The Deathbed Vigil and other tales of digital angst". For those who've been living, well, in the normal mainstream of modern life and don't know this, this is the film I made about the end of Commodore." There's also a "contest" where you can get your words on the DVD.

Yes, Individual Computers sell it, or you can email Dave Haynie directly.

WOW, 35$ really is TOO steep. From here overseas, you can expect ending up paying minimum 40$ for it.

If only it would go to the M. Ali Memorial fund

On the other hand, I'm *dying* to see this film ever since I heard of it (10 years ? 12 ?)

Where's my P2P client...

This DVD is really worth the money if you have been in the Commodore/Amiga scene since before "the end". It's very sad though...

Yes, I got my copy directly from Dave. After all these years it's still very sad...
