| Looking better and better.
Future improvement ideas: - "recent site updates" or "history" would be nice (automatically generated, perhaps?)
for SW compatibility list: - mention if AOS4 native apps use new AOS4 API features
I suggest the compatibility options to be these: PARTIAL / FULL / EMULATION / NOT TESTED / NOT COMPATIBLE
(and if EMULATION is the compatibility "type" for an app, then mentions like "by using AOS4 UAE" would be neccessary in the field of additional information)
I would be interested in knowing if some application works on A1 or not. And if someone has already tested it or not. We are a small community, we need to be effficient. Rather exploring new stuff than .
And listing modes: Alphabethical filters / Compatible / Comp.+Emu / All
And perhaps there could be own section for foreign OS apps that can be run on AOS4 somehow ("runs on AOS3.x ShapeShifter")... _________________ - KimmoK // For freedom, for honor, for AMIGA // // Thing that I should find more time for: CC64 - 64bit Community Computer?

Thanks again for the idea's, I'll give you my opinion of them now:
The history idea is something I might consider but it would be quite a bit of a rework to impliment such a thing.
The AOS4 Native API thing... couldnt/shouldnt that be noted by the submitter in the notes if they so wish? I dont think joe average will be aware if its using the New API or not and Im trying not to get false information on the site.
Compatability options: first of, Emulation... I dont think I'll be adding that, for the simple reason that its emulation of another system specifically not AOS so its outside the scope of the site. Perhaps Mikey_C could add a software list to his maconamiga portal?
If something is not tested, then it shouldnt be in the database to begin with. However yep I do agree we need a "NOT COMPATIBLE" option so I'll see about getting that added.
Hope that helps _________________ Regards Darren 'Ryu' Glenn ---------------------------- www.IntuitionBase.com - Your Guide to Amiga OS4.x and the AmigaOne www.Bambi-Amiga.co.uk - My A1200 webserver, running 24/7/365

Good idea, I'll talk to the master about it...

We will include any additional info provided by testers.

S/W won't be listed until it's been tested, but a section so people could request a favourite program be tested might be an idea...

The software section does/will do this but we need info from AmigaOne owners to add to the database. I think we have most of listing modes you mention covered (apart from the Compatible + Emu)
Thanx for the suggestions JohnN - Intuitionbase team member |

"Compatability options: first of, Emulation... I dont think I'll be adding that, for the simple reason that its emulation of another system specifically not AOS so its outside the scope of the site."
I appreciate that you try to keep the site clean and un cluttered.
But then, it might be good idea to instruct people to mention for those NOT COMPATIBLE apps if they anyway can be run by using AOS4 UAE or some other emulator solution on AOS4.
" Perhaps Mikey_C could add a software list to his maconamiga portal?"
Could someone provide a link to that please?
I think information that enables people to run as much SW as possible on their AOS4 is "a little bit" relevant, so I think at least some links needs to be added (@ http://www.intuitionbase.com/links.php ) to widen the view to AOS4 runnable SW. (so I/we @ the community will be delivering/suggesting/posting those I guess)
I'm very eager to see how intuitionbase evolves in the future.

| Keep up the good work guys! I've sent a few people over to the site who are interested in what Amgia has to offer. Since Amiga.com still has an OS 4 section, is there any chance of them linking to your site? |
