That looks fantastic Cobra. Is this base on RiVA or an entirely new project?

Looks really nice.

I'd also like to know what formats it supports.

The GUI looks good, but there is no way of telling which window is active. Perhaps some indication could be added (yeah I know this is picky, but some of us use keyboard shortcuts quite a lot)

Looks excellent and I will get one.

I am not sure whether it will play DVDs, I take it that it will. If this is the case please make sure the Script/Arexx interface has plenty of controls.

I use DVDs a lot in teaching, creating segment lists, saving data for particular classes, adding notes etc would be very handy, but it is all very unpredictable (not worth extending the GUI in otherwords). What I need is something I can communicate with and get information from.

A DVD player that can be controlled via AREXX - thats genious!! What an awsome idea - I can see the potential. Kinda like a playlist but MUCH MUCH More advanced!! A Power Playlist
