* Classic Amiga game pentathlon between the three Swedish usergroups.
* W!ild Compo with OS4 theme. The three Swedish user groups against each other in AmigaOS madness!!! And YOU will be the jury right here on Amigaworld.net. (Deadline: Saturday at 23:00 GMT)

Yeah, finally something happens in Stockholm, and it sounds really lame. Are there any plans for an norwegian amiga event during next years union dissolution celebrations ?

@ StarChild_se & Step

I'm sorry if we are not able to please you, but the feedback has not been that encourageing and this type of postings does not really help.

I must remind you that this is a party and not an amiga fair. It's a chance for people to get together and have fun and this includes the organizers. It is not an event where the organizers are supposed to entertain the visitors.

More information about the Stockholm event.

@Step & StarChild,

Hey guys! you got it all wrong!! The contests are for Both parties!!!

The pentathlon will be played in Stockholm and in Landskrona, it will be Stockholm v.s. Landskrona v.s. Gothenburg. Of cource all visitors will be invited to play as well!

Sorry, it is of course great that you organize a party, it just sounded a bit boring from the presentation on the stockholm page, it could have used a lot more party feeling to it, thats all.

In the schedule it says in parts... watch some anims, poke around with OS4 and sleep. Thats not a very fascinating picture of a party. You could perhaps have thrown in some BBQ and late night festivities and stuff, you know spice it up a bit.

What other late night activities other than hacking on computers and anime do you need? I mean, come on, this is a geek party! If you're after drinking beer (or stronger stuff) and getting into fights this is obviously not for you. This is not a party about alcohol, fights, dancing and picking up girls. It's about computers, watching demos, playing classic/new games and socializing with like-minded.

As for BBQ, it's not possible since SUA is located in the middle of Stockholm, so there's really no good places for a BBQ close enough... We have the next best thing instead: Falafelkungen! Almost the same as a BBQ, but the food is better (and you don't have to make it yourself). It is possible to socialize without a BBQ.

Sure, os4 is the main thing. My point was only that it could be presented in a more desirable way than it was, and there is always a need to do other stuff than just sit in a cellar staring at a screen, even if it is a geek party.

Well, it's my fault as the webmaster the presentation was bad. It's been fixed and next time the presentation will be better. (And it will be a next time)

Hey the party site seems to be unavailable (atleast here atm.). Whats the location in Landskrona and how do I get there???

How is public transportation from Helsingborg, by train or what?

And more importantly is beer available ar the party at decent price, or is it ok to bring your own ;) ??

Best regards
