I always love reading Nicholas' articles, he puts so much effort into writing them! And he's a nice and reasonable person to communicate with in person as well.

The blue trolls should be happy that he mentioned Genesi on page 3 of the article. When will Amiga start getting mentioned?

Eh, Nicholas was a Genesi employee after all. I don't know if he is still employed today, but his interest in Genesi should IMO be expected.

Blue trolls? I wouldn't know about them, but I imagine Pegasos users and fans are happy enough for the mention. As for trolls, it's hard, but I'm trying to ignore their negativism no matter what their color. You reap what you sow.

When its earned. Whatever else may be true about him, Bill Buck works his a** off to promote his company and product. This, and its technology, is why the Pegasos is on Freescale's radar.

Actually, he worked for Thendic France but lost his job when that company was dissolved following the Pretory downfall, IIRC. I'd say a one-sentence mention of Genesi in this kind of article would be reasonable even if Nicholas wasn't formerly connected, for reasons related to the Pegasos and its technology and potential alone.

Looks as though IBM really did light a fire under Freescale bottom with the 970 . Personally though I'm looking forward to seeing what IBM will be churning out in its 32bit ppc line in the coming years.

Nicholas on several occasions referred to himself as a project manager for Genesi ( see OSNews passim ). Whether he was right or not, it explains the confusion.

It's true, Nicholas was hired on as a project manager at Thendic before Genesi's founding. If you want to find out what he is up to, go here...
