Important news regarding the Ottawa Amiga Show

If you are planning to make the trek, accommodation is at a premium. Seems two football teams will be playing for the oldest trophy in professional sports that weekend.

For more info on football, see: http://www.greycup2004.com

They have links on accommodations too.

Otherwise, you can try this site:

http://www.ottawa.ca/visitors/visiting/wheretostay_en.shtml

There are links to sites. Your best bet may be the Bed and Breakfast option. Being this is the largest city in Canada, there are plenty of them within city limits.

(Available in French also.)
Main city page: http://www.ottawa.ca

Need maps, etc.? http://www.ottawa.ca/visitors/visiting/gettinghere_en.shtml
The city is 90% rural, so don't be surprised when coming in via Hwy 416.

@busytech,

yup, thought so ! I did, I thought 'the FA cup is older than that' - but there may be an older sporting trophy - Perhaps in the world of Cricket ? or Even the League Championship itself !

I correct myself - the FA Challenge cup is the oldest (at least of the three mentioned here) professional sporting prize in the world.

Quiz: who won it first, what was the score ?

BTW: good luck with the show !

Wouldn't it be a nice feature to make an URL-catcher in the News, that automatically generates Link out of URLs ?
