yup, thought so ! I did, I thought 'the FA cup is older than that' - but there may be an older sporting trophy - Perhaps in the world of Cricket ? or Even the League Championship itself !
I correct myself - the FA Challenge cup is the oldest (at least of the three mentioned here) professional sporting prize in the world.
Quiz: who won it first, what was the score ?
