Hardware News   Hardware News : Got your Micro AmigaOne "C"?

If you have a board only, and are having difficulty figuring out the jumpers and connectors come to:

http://amigairc.amigarevolution.com/micro.html

I apologize in advance to dialup users, I imagine it won't be fast for them.

Very well done. I didn't know the uA1 had front audio headers until viewing that diagram.

Very nice work, indeed!

I've got dialup and your pages loaded fine for me.

I ordered cable service on 19 December 2003. I am still waiting for the installation. Yeah, that is right, almost a year now. I am an unhurried person and dialup works for me so I do not care if the cable installers ever show up on my doorstep. I contact them every few weeks and they tell me that I am on their list of things to do. Hmm....

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

You need to share the story of how the page came to be.

Well not really. While some of the pictures and content are mine, all the graphics, text and HTML are edited and formatted by a long time channel member/part founder named...

TheGrimReaper^cF

(Who has been known to claim that Hyperion named "GrimReaper" after him...)

You forgot the part about him being stark raving insane.

Nice!

But...

No link to AmigaWorld at the link page?

Well, as the website says at the top of the links page:

"If you would like your link added to this page, click the contact link on the menu above and let us know. Or just use your l33t haXX0r sk1lls to add it yourself, you lazy ####s..."

Anyway, I'm willing to bet that the links HTML was created years before AmigaWorld.net was available as a news site, or maybe even a registered domain. Some of the other links there are no good either...

As a matter of fact, I did.

Serial Number 11 (or binary three). Typing this using AWebPPC.

Just picked it up about 2 hours ago, now trying to get a decent display. May have to remove the switchbox. Once the transition from A2000/HD/060 is completed.

This is one slick setup.

When I think back, way back, to what I got when I bought my A2000, this is a deal.

I got 1M RAM, 68000 CPU, A2091 w/ 40 MEGAbytes of space. And a 1084 monitor.

In comparison, this A1 cost less in adjusted dollars, and gives a whole lot more. 80G HD for starters.

Now to make space for this machine.

If I wanted a $400 Dell, dewd, I'd've gotten a Dell.
