News   News : Amiga Forever 6 SE features on Retro Magazine cover CD
posted by -Sam- on 19-Feb-2005 22:57:01 (1727 reads)
Amiga Forever 6 SE features on the latest issue of UK based Retro Magazine. The SE edition is like the full version except it only has the 1.3 ROM and no extras.

Worth looking at if you want a legal way to run all of your old A500 games and you are struggling to find a 1.3 ROM.

Does this mean that it will self-boot, like the full version can? I'd be interested in seeing how well this feature works.

The self-boot feature is for a 3.1 config only so the answer is no.

I think self-boot has full custom chip support but I haven't tried it
out so far.

ARGGG 8(

I hope theres some left by Tuesday. 8(

I had a good read of the disc use in the magazine when I saw it today, wish I had the money to get it there and then, theres two newsagents carrying it in my small town alone.

Anyway, what I read in the back of the mag, on how to use the disc, is that its A500 kickstart 1.3 only, which means I should be able to play MegloMania at last..

But.. it said, The Emulatorruns Off the CD.

Its AMIGA LIVE 8)

I guess it should be "no Extras". ;)
