Events   Events : Scunthorpe Amiga Gathering "report" finally online.
   posted by Ryu on 6-Apr-2005 20:46:09 (2911 reads)
Finally I've had a chance to try and jot down a few notes about the show which took place last Saturday. Unfortunatly the report isn't as thorough as I would have liked. It would seem my memory is rather patchy for most of the weekend, but anyway I hope it gives you some insight to what most of you missed out on

As ever you can read it over on my reports site

Nice report

Which one was the SE?

For anybody who wasn't there, this is the best AmigaOne case I've seen so far.

Chris

@Ryu

Yes, briefly. I was with Rudei. I didn't introduce myself so it was my fault you didn't know who I was.

Well done ! seems like it all pulled off nicely.
any chance of comments for the thumbs to say briefly who (or what) is in shot ?
that'd be interesting.

I'll see if I can come up next year if you do one.

Great report man, and more importantly great piccies!

Now for the really important question: ooz oo?

(Apart from yourself Ryu and the new look Alan ... hehe reminds me, about two years ago, Alan had gone to a show, and his hair had grown long, I pointed it out to him and he replied. Can't remember what he said though)

The SE was mine! It appears in the picture with Alan and Ryu in. (You can just see it under the table)

Other than problems with a USB memory card it behaved itself quite well too.

@Ryu,

Made it back to Hull OK, glad to hear you did get food eventually!

@Daz

Yeah sorry about the evening, nothing I could do about it though unfortunatly I did phone in and tell them that there was a part coming in but I wasnt sure of the numbers. I was told not to worry they could accomodate us.

Turns out they accepted 2 late bookings after ours so we got served food last.

Well, tickle me with a feather duster and call me Mary (this is a usual Friday night for me) if.. erm... no, I still can't see it. Either I'm blind or you're hullucinating, and I suspect the former. Next time put it on the table, with a huge Neon sign (preferably flashing), and I might not walk past without even realising it is there.

Chris
