Events   Events : fYaNICA #12 - 20th birthday celebration party of the Amiga
   posted by Chip on 1-Jul-2005 12:37:50 (3469 reads)
In honour of the 20th anniversary of the Amiga, the Fyanica Party, which is the biggest annual Amiga party in Hungary, is being held on the 23rd of July this year. We hope to make this a very exciting party, we will show the different Amiga models which were made, from the oldest to the newest (including A1 & Pegasos), show what they're capable of and how the Amiga evolved thorughout the years. Demoscene lovers will be able to enjoy all the best Amiga demos on the big screen. There will be a very nostalgic atmosphere.

More information can be found on the party page.

We hope to see you there!

The 23:rd seem to be the Official Amiga Day all over the world. Maybe some one should put a site together and link to all the events. Sort of like OS4 On Tour, and promote this day some more.. ?

Every one could then link back to this site.

@everyone

Our CTACS's regular meeting is 3rd Monday, the 18th. That'll be close enough for us. We have met regularly (monthly [every 2 weeks in the old days]) since 1985. Never had fewer than 8 members (never more than 200 [the peak]).

I think I'll see to it that a small cake with *AMIGA*! on it appears for the next meeting.

One can see the Bearded Lady or OS4 if wanted to...
