Events   Events : Final AmiGBG Update!
   posted by shoe on 20-Jul-2005 20:18:42 (4148 reads)
AmiGBG 2005 is just hours away and still New Exhibitors are joining up! David Burström from the IBrowse team will attend the show to present the new features in IBrowse 2.4, and Adam Chodorowski will show us the latest and grandest in the wonderful world of AROS!

On a funny side note, this morning Sveriges Radio had a short segment about the 20th anniversary of the Amiga, and Yours truly was of course in place to promote OS4 and AmiGBG 2005. The broadcase reached a few hundred thousand listeners, and the interview was recorded and is available here as an mp3. (Thanks to Christer Beskow for the recording)

2 more days to go, surely you have more in your sleeve

You did really well in the radio-interview.

Who cares about AmiGBG?

It's my birthday, that's a more important occasion!

PM me for my email address, I take Paypal payments as gifts!

I listened. I understood about 6 words. Then some dire music came on and I could listen no more!

Good luck to everyone involved, and have a great time.

@shoe:

you sounded over anxious in the interview , i guess thats good but well it made me smile

typical...ure like so into the #### when the radio guy is asking about stuff that you forgot his questions etc.

anyway great transmission and its a keeper, i really hope you won even more attenders with the preview on the radio.

best of luck at the show.

Me, too. I understood "Commodore" and "Amiga"

But it's a very nice sounding language, I must admit

Especially on big-breasted blonde girls!

Like this one for instance.

@tomazkid, Toaks,

hehe, thanks.. Well I had about 1000 things to say and about 5 minutes to say it so.. Talk about motor mouth

Dunno if it affected our visitor number, but it was fun and now at least the south west of Sweden "knows". (As per "Let the world know" )

@shoe

according to this, is it not David Burström, but Andreas Loong who is going to demonstrate IBrowse

@ hnl_dk

That was the original plan as neither of the Burstroem brothers thought they would be able to make it. Meldon is now going, so will be doing the demo.

"- Är det något mer du vill säga?
- Amiga rulez!"

If there is a radio hall of fame somewhere, this way to end an interview has got to be in it!

@Bezzen,

hehe, thanks I thought it was funny as hell.. We always say that here in Sweden, I've even got a T-shirt that says "Amiga Rulez". (from www.amigarulez.com of course)

Actually he was supposed to play the AmiGBG 2004 Anthem as well but we didn't make it.

About to leave for a one day visit to Denmark. See you all tomorrow in Gothenburg

And I plan to stay in Sweden for about 4.5 days, so don't expect a full show report from me right away.

Yeah, me too.

If you don't believe me, look left.

I've got somethings planned for the fair too, that's gonna Rock, litterally.

This will be fun.

I'm a bit sleepy now but if I wake up early enough tomorrow I might take a trip to the the show. It's a 350km journey from Kongsberg to Gøteborg but I guess it could be worth it. Don't know who's going but hope to see some familiar faces if I show up, at least I have to see the Kalms seminar. :)

See you there tomorrow?!

Who knows..

strife/apathy..
