Internet News   Internet News : The contest is closing its doors
posted by elwood on 30-Sep-2005 21:00:31 (4138 reads)
2 hours left before the doors get closed. If you have a project, submit it now!
I would like to thank Terry Palfrey and Kees Marijnsen and Software Hut for their great support.

Now to the news. You were waiting for that didn't you?

2 new projects are added and you'll see that they are not the smallest ones! Welcome to Carl Drougge and TxRx! With the support I received, it was fair to create a third prize so that even the coder that will arrive third will win something.

Good luck everyone.

Not unless it's written in C or C++ and uses the correct runtime library.

I made an MP3.. my guitar + recording equipment + guitr playing ability arent too great, but this gives you an idea of what you can do with RockBEAT..

I gotta record the vocals sometime. I dont know how though because my microphone sounds very poor.

@jahc,

Your MP3's pretty neat!

So have you managed to get a scrolling Rock Beat (with marker) yet?

Cheers,
Bean.

Posting a paste from our server:

Our LA datacenter has screwed up again, and has disconnected all of
the machines in our rack. No certain plans have been made with
regards to how this will be corrected. For the time being, all
email is on lain, and all web is on andromeda. Please upload web
content there.

Stupid datacentre....

Anyway you can get an older version of the DevContest site through:

http://movies.intuitionbase.com/DevContest/

And if Elwood would like to send me the updated version I can put it online...

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing AMC. But at the same time, good luck to everyone that's got in on the contest. All of your efforts deserve recognition.

FuZion.
