Hardware News   Hardware News : Happy Holiday's Amiga 4000T owners from DiscreetFX
   posted by DiscreetFX on 26-Nov-2005 12:20:03 (3249 reads)
Happy Holiday's Amiga 4000T owners. DiscreetFX is giving away a QuikPak 060 card to one lucky winner. The card and the shipping are 100% free; you will have to track down your own driver disk though. We will even include some EDO memory if we can find some before we ship the card. E-mail our sales department to be added to the contest list.

Winner will be chosen @ random on Dec 25th 2005 and is required to own a 4000T. We hope you will enjoy the speed of an 060 and will not sell it. This offer is for true Amiga fans only not e-Bay profiteers. If you like we will even throw in a free issue of NewsTek #1, our new magazine/zine.

:)

Best regards

Is there no 68060 for A1200 as part of the competition? I really would like to have one for my A1200, spending a fortune to getting a 68060 is harsh and I would like to expand my A1200 to 68060 to have serious fun with !!!

the 060 gives excellent speed for mp3 playback, you can even run some (small) full screen QuickTime videos in shapesshifter, on classic whit out AmigaOS4, it's the best choice in my option

@bill

Not sure why you are doing this...........but you are a generous man...............a true Amigan!

I wish I had a 4000T so I could enter..........I will try to get one so that maybe I can win!

I have been experimenting with my CD32/SX32 pro 68030 Amiga though and some of those Wipes You have for the Toaster..................they look Massively Cool! I made them run just like they would on a Toaster

Maybe you should consider releasing an Anim32 version CD of all those wipes! Im telling you, they run Smooth!

Anim32 is used by SCALA MM300 and 400.

My Amiga never ceases to amaze me!

@thread

Should be possible to stuff it in A3000 + A4000 desktop ?

I'm all 060'd up here so I don't need it.

Wol.

Just what I was thinking - surely this would fit in an A4000 D (towerised?!)

Didnt realise the (T) was any different regarding fitting CPU upgrade boards?
