posted by Heinz on 8-Jan-2006 17:19:51 (2123 reads)
http://amidev.kilu.net/

The new vervion contains compiler for the following
platforms:

MS Windows, Amiga OS (68k), Amiga OS4 (PPC), MorphOS (PPC),
Aros (x86)

OS4 User have to look for a actual SDK by themselve, because its not freely available at this moment.

The Help Menu, jow contains a "First Steps" Tutorial for AmiDevCpp.

If you have fast Internet Connection, use the Internet Setup to download the more than 100 files:

http://amidev.kilu.net/AmiDevCpp_v09/AmiDev_Internet_Setup.exe

If you have a slow connection, you can download the files manually.

There may be some problems with the new server, so a few downloaded files may be corrupted (< 900kB).
You can download them manually.

Hmm.. Why Linux is not supported ?

EDIT: Ah ok. It's IDE for the Windows which can compile for the AmigaOS 3.x & 4, AROS and MOS. Not just crosscompiler based on GCC.

Does anyone here know if the GCC patch for OS4 made it into the GCC mainline yet? if so, it should be relatively easy to build an OS4 crosscompiler.

Good idea this but where do I install the SDK files?

I can't find that help menu you mention.

What about us English users? I tried the program it is perfect, only it isn't English so the perfect image is gone . I so wanted to use it for my next upcoming projects for the 68k and PPC Amiga's but without understanding the language or the compiler been in English I have no chance of using it. Please consider making an English version of it, it will be greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
