I second that, use this exclusively to view/delete and manage my photos.

One of the best features is the ability to view your images and when you find the one you want, send it to workbench as your background.

Thomas is also very quick and receptive to bug reports and suggestions.

Keep up the great work Thomas and as I said to you, if it ever goes Shareware, you have my money.

Ciao, Trev Daley.

PS. Give "thumb" a try, great for moving, renaming and deleting pictures.

I didn't realise there was a PPC native version (has been for a while, right?). This suits my needs very well.

Good to see this viewer and his "Thumb" utilities are still being actively developped.

If you haven't tried them before, give the a bash. Both work exceptionally quickly under WinUAE - in my tests, they view things quicker than I could using my CSPPC/CV (604e/233).

Excellent! The best picture viewer for the Amiga, and absolutely flies on OS4.

@SpotUp

It looks like there is also an updated version of Thumb, as well.

Great work Thomas.

I love the slideshow features, including the beautiful 'crossfade' transition effect.

However, many times I'll turn off all bubbles and have the images cycle endlessly with an .mp3 in the background. I've noticed you can't get to the menues when the info bubbles are turned off. I'm speaking, of course, when the slideshow is shown on its own screen. Try it, you can't get to the pull-down menues when the bubbles are turned off.

Anyway, I love this program!

@Stephen

If native datatypes are used to load images, there shouldn't be a lot of difference I think.

I would suppose that if you apply some special effects you begin to see some slower speed with 68K version.
