An interesting read but I should point out:

There's no problem with linking to an open forum.

Alan has stated various times that he doesn't want to have his messages *cross-posted* onto other websites, sadly some people simply ignore this. However by simply linking to the message, the message is seen in its original context.

Well, that's the nasty thing about beta-testing. Sometimes they find something which needs fixing. This probably means I won't see my board until April ("No Mai until April"...Buck almost got it right).

Not good news, but at least now I know what's going on.

There was just a link to a public mailing list.
There can't be any "unauthorized review" if the content is posted for the general public.

Well, that pretty much confirms my last contact with Eyetech (yesterday). A shipment for developers is due to be sent exactly as specified in Alan's e-mail, and apparently my A1XE will ship shortly afterwards.

Hmmmmm, I wish they wouldn't keep offering even more powerful versions of the AmigaOne, it keeps tempting me ;)

Looks like OS4 and the AmigaOne are going to come out at around the same time then
