Internet News   Internet News : News from Masonicons
posted by Mason on 27-Jan-2006 21:53:36 (2312 reads)
The Masonicons site has received a new design and there are some new downloads available.

'apageMIK' is a construction set for creating Amiga related standard websites. The package provides a basic environment for creating a simple standard page, hosting e.g. your program files. You just need a HTML editor - the design is delivered by 'apageMIK'.

There are also new wallpapers available: 'Dancing in the Sunshine of the Dark' (preview) inspired by a song of 'Fury in the Slaughterhouse' and 'The Wretched' (preview) inspired by the music of 'Nine Inch Nails'.

Please visit Masonicons for further information.

Hi Mason,
That -- Basic Home Page Kit -- is real nice! I saw a nice
place for this recently -- Yahoo360°. The trouble there is the Amiga
browser, you need CSS support. I play with now and then with the A1
via linux's FireFox.

How about some previews of the icons, rather than a direct link to the downloads.

The navigation buttons look a bit blurry btw.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

@mason

It sounds small but I like the Reset icon. Good anti-aliasing, good shadow (Not tool light, not too dark & there's a good contrast so it looks good on light or dark backdrops.

The same can be said for the icons in the wallpaper archives.

If the full set runs along this kind of quality, we're in for a treat. Looking forward to them.

FuZion.

Thanks for the kind words!

My OS4 PNG icon set will afaik be released with the final version of OS4. As it is the basic of my other icon sets (over 100) it wouldn't imho be wise to release them now.

BTW on request I added a view banners for download to the website.
