| It would be even better if NewTek released a free version of Lightwave for Amiga OS _________________ Men who have girlies in their avatars are Girliemen!

Didn't Newtek release the souce code?
I for one would love to see an Avi of this program running under Os4. _________________ "The system no longer works " -- Young Anakin Skywalker

| Is anyone using render farm with the AmigaOS version of the lightwave? (screamernet, IIRC)
((IMO: the usage of assynchronous multiprocessing and/or network processing is the "only" way for PPC AmigaOS power users to get x86 compareable performance on Amiga systems dunring this decade. And uA1 with 2ghZ DCG5 render/compile/booster on a PCI slot would be nice, if not then x86 booster would suffice. For example screamernet can use CPU's from different CPU families on the screamer network, and the CPU would be faster accessible on the PCI slot than on gigabit ethernet. And Amigas with multiple PCI slots could fly.....)) Last edited by KimmoK on 14-Feb-2006 at 02:05 PM.

| Is that for the version that shipped with the Toaster, or the stand-alone version? _________________ It's got 32 bits and it uses them all. It's overclocked, watch the bouncing ball!

| @ Interesting
Only the source-code to the Video Toaster Flyer was released, not LightWave 3D Amiga version.
Best regards

Why would you need a patch for classic? Everything works there. |

| Hi
I'm running Lightwave on voodoo 3 on an Mirage 4k - having some prb with modepro. I also use an video converter from Electronic Design with the s-video output conected to the same lcd as the voodoo runs on - the screen flashes and is stressfull to see on.
