| oh dear,
one guy posted on that site: Quote:
I'm surprised to see Amiga is still going.
Their web site is interesting...
http://www.amiga.com/
I noticed that they sell Amiga PCs, Set Boxes, PDAs, Smartphones and other devices.
The Amiga clubs still meet here in Auckland, New Zealand and other parts of NZ surprisingly interesting to see.
The web site says that as the Amigas die the membership do too as people take the easy way to Uncle Bill's PC world.
Supplies are just too hard to get in NZ and salvaging part off older machines in getting scarce and too difficult to bother.
A shame though, to see other platforms to give up until they have one day faded away.

Well, if you hadn't heard of the Amiga in a while and wanted to look up more info, wouldn't you enter "www.amiga.com" into your browser? That site doesn't give you much idea of what's going on does it. It's really hard to find information about AmigaOS and the whole AmigaAnywhere/AmigaOS line is blurred. People are unlikely to find os4.hyperion-entertainment.biz, AW.net unless someone tells them. Googling for Amiga brings up amiga.com, amiga.org and even AROS. No os4.hyperion-entertainment.biz. It doesn't even appear on the first three pages. You have to enter Amiga OS4 to get it on the first page (3rd entry) which means you have to know that OS4 exists. We really need to do something to get os4.hyperion-entertainment.biz higher up in the search rankings for just the keyword Amiga.
