| I still haven't reged my CyberVision PPC 'cause I don't wanna open my 4000 atm, it's not in a good place... Maybe you should have a "serial number not known" option for registering gfx cards?
I did register my Blizzard PPC though :D _________________ Back to action!

| Likewise, I have a CyberVisionPPC in my A4000T that I haven't registered. That's a lot of work to take my system apart ( ) just to read a serial number. |

| I've got a couple I nevered reg-ed. I hung on to them as I was due a copy of OS-4. (I have a coupon from my SDK that promises a $100 off an ami-one or free os=4)
So why give up marketing info now?
What does it do for me. |

Likewise. I only registered my BPPC. I agree that it is a good idea to add a "serial number not none" for the PPC gfx cards. Only ppl who have already register their PPC accelerators would be allowed to use it though. Otherwise the results might not be very reliable.Last edited by pure_Amiga on 27-Jul-2006 at 08:32 AM.

| No need to take your system apart, as long as you can run WhichAmiga..
Quote:
Please enter here the serial number. You can find these on the attached sticker (e.g. HAB0826) or can be identified with the Tool WhichAmiga.

| Or how about someone like me? I could register my old dead CSPPC board, but what's the point? It fried itself a few years back and took out my A3000 with it. I've got the board somewhere but it's stuck in a box that I have no idea where it's at to get the servial number. _________________ This posting, in it's entirety, is the opinion and/or statement of the author and does not reflect the views and/or position of this site.

They want to know about broken boards, too. There is an input on the form where you can specify "Working" and "Defective", so they can see what proportion of them blew up. _________________ Playstation Network ID: xeron6

| I have not registered in the past due to the need for a serial number. However since I several CS & CV PPC cards I will register them all within the next few days. Honest!

| I downloaded and tried the Whichamiga utility. Unfortunately it does not report the serial number of a CS PPC board (as mentioned earlier in this thread). I guess I'll have to open her up then! Unless someone knows better?
