Didn't you post some time ago that you were dropping out of the website biz? What changed your mind?

@weirdami

I wasn't giving up anything. I think you're confusing me with Ryu, whom also isn't giving anything up, but having a break.

We would welcome articles from anyone and I'd love to hear from anyone interested in writing an article, or indeed after advice.

Great news !!
IMHO IntuitionBase is a great idea, it should not die.
However hardware database is less easy to use than the software one (because of the lack of alphabetical ordering).

@abalaban

Is alphabetical ordering something you would find useful on the hardware list? By manufcturer I presume?

If so I shall dedicate some time to it in the near future.

Thanks also for your kind comments. It is very much not dead and some updates will be happening I know.

I'm curious, I suggested some time ago to "not let the submitter write whatever he/she wanted for chipset, but instead select from a pre-made list of supported chipsets".

If you look at it today, you have atleast 5 different ways of spelling "silicon image 0680". So.. any news?

@GuruMeditation

Hi there,
I wasn't aware of this suggestion but it does sound quite logical.
The one thing that this would require, however, is a pre-made list (and another database table which is no-biggie).

I'll discuss this with the other coders and will have to get back to you.
