| I wonder how people would have taken this is the Q&A hadn't happened, or at least if McEwen hadn't told us Amiga was going to buy other companies in it. |

| I somehow expected to see something like this someday if they really want to push their product to mobile devices. But it's still quite a surprise. Purchases like that make it look like there might be interesting times ahead. Last edited by miksuh on 24-Sep-2006 at 06:27 AM. Last edited by miksuh on 24-Sep-2006 at 06:04 AM. Exactly my thought on the matter. No point in getting excited either way (negatively or positively) because really, there is no product for us to buy yet.
It is interesting news in that Amiga Inc. is doing something and seems to have resources to accomplish something but not much more. _________________ ExecSG Team Lead

They haven't produced one single line of code since they have existed... |
I know you don't really mean that. I personally wrote several thousand lines of code for Amiga DE as an Amiga Inc. employee and delivered two applications. One of which was actually used on the Microsoft sponsored game cards that Amiga released. I also personally know of many other thousands of lines of code written by other Amiga Inc. employees that also went into those game cards. There is a whole heck of a lot more going on behind the scenes than just some games written by 3rd parties. Amiga Inc. put a lot of effort into supporting and helping those developers. Without our efforts at Amiga Inc., those game cards would not have been possible.
