hardware OS4   hardware OS4 : Docket v3.0 scheduler available on OS4Depot
posted by Raffaele on 19-Nov-2006 9:55:40 (2181 reads)
Docket is a useful tool for anyone who wants their Amiga to perform repetitive tasks at specific times.

Docket is aimed at intermediate to advanced users who want an easier way to schedule tasks to be done on a regular basis. Docket is most useful if you leave your computer on all the time and need to perform tasks when you aren't using your Amiga.

Find this useful Cron-Like program HERE.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

This isn't a new program by any means but I wanted to resurrect it and port it to OS4 at the same time. Let me know if you find any features missing.

thanks but there is something missing : the automatic clock sync at each boot/powerup.

Each time I powerup my A1, I have to adjust the clock via a timeserver in time prefs.
how cool would it be to use docket to do that (after telling it to launch tcp/ip stack of course).

well in fact the config GUI is missing a tab named = at powerup (or upon boot).
