| I was to see if there was any new firmware for my machinedrum and got the chock when i saw the text. Unbelivable when its people near you. Got alot of help and chat about the machinedrum, amiga etc. And same age as me. I feel sorry for his family ;( |

He was only a couple years younger than me. That is scary. First the Amiga scene was dying, now all the Amigans seem to be dying. It's not good to be part of a dying breed!
I must read up on this fellow, I am almost ashamed to say I know almost nothing about him.

| I remember when i bought this FredFish discs before i got internet and could download from aminet. I had to buy amiga magazines as we had a lot of them. Today we got almost only the internet. Fast and easy but you cant sit in the toilet and read news ;)
Edit: If you didnt know the SIDStation was programmed using A4000. The later products was ofcourse done using PC or something like that. Last edited by Kicko on 02-Sep-2007 at 08:00 PM.

| Another sad news in Electron family...
Ryan Faubion, the driving force behind the elektron-users forum, has passed away. He was an integral part of the world wide Elektron community, always helpful and responsive. The genuinely friendly atmosphere at elektron-users was to a large extent a direct result of his contributions. He will be deeply missed.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
