Let's hope new AROS ABI is MorphOS/AmigaOS4 compatible and they avoid creating a third one that will make harder for developers to support all platforms.

What has to be considered in supporting OS4 or MOS ABI is what negative impact it will have on other archs, unless there is a fork in the ABIs. Probably the best way is use a wrapper for OS4 and MOS that can also handle alignment.

Making AROS both MorphOS and OS4 compatible is relatively easy but in my opinion M68K compatible API in AROS PPC would be more significant. There is large software library for OS3 and you can not run all MorphOS and OS4 software without M68k support. I would really consider adding M68k compatibility layer and then thinking about MOS or OS4 support which is still very well possible.
