hardware OS4   hardware OS4 : PCMCIA network drivers
   posted by tomazkid on 7-Jul-2008 1:14:13 (2845 reads)
Neil Cafferkey has released betaversions of PCMCIA network drivers for Amiga OS4 and MorphOS.
Read more...

From Amiga.org
Beta versions of prism2.device and etherlink3.device (a replacement for 3c589.device) that support PCMCIA cards under AmigaOS4 and MorphOS are now available for download. Thanks must go to Chris McGonagle for testing several versions of the OS4 drivers on a PPC-equipped A1200 as I don't have such hardware.

Be sure to install the provided 68k pccard.library in LIBS:. Further information about installation, compatible cards and contact details can be found in the older prism2 and 3c589 archives on Aminet.

I read this in the ReadMe of Prism2 device: " - Pegasos no longer supported because of unresolvable speed problems." What are these speed problems? Do they also apply on the Pegasos2, or only Pegasos1?

@chainq

It would be interesting to test this again with MOS2 to see if the problem can be reproduced
