Assisted by a staff of 10 specialists from the Community, RELEC will host and present on its 18 m2 stand all that represents Amiga of today : its new "RED ONE" configuration on AmigaOS 4.1 and a Touchscreen EFIKA under MorphOS 2.1, AmigaOS 4.1 on SAM440ep also represented by ACube Systems in person, MorphOS 2.1 on Pegasos & EFIKA by the presence of Mister Blender on Amiga and RMS Communications with its ERP in demonstration (based on MUIBase). Finally, the Minimig will attract visitors certainly pleased to recognize the Amiga of yesterday.

Amiga will be put forward in several highlights during the weekend :

- ACube Systems and RMS Communications will be candidates for the first Innovation Trophies crowning event by presenting their SAM440ep under AmigaOS4 and their multiplatform ERP based on MUIBase, with important benefits in media exposure for the winners.

- The public conference of ACube Systems stand Sunday afternoon (3:30 PM - 4:15 PM), which will show once again SAM440ep under AmigaOS4.

- The mini-conferences about MorphOS2 that will be live on the RELEC stand.

To reward our visitors, QoQa.fr will offer, during a free contest game organized on the RELEC stand, a multimedia product special exhibition. This same event will be featured throughout the weekend on their web site : this magnificent Zicplay Multimedia Center Z99.

Finally, other main actors of the Amiga Community will be also represented (by posters and flyers) :

- The AFLE association and its aMiGa=PoWeR magazine : http://www.amigapower.net
- Boing Attitude :o) and its game Word Me Up XXL : http://boing.attitude.online.fr
- The AmigaOS and MorphOS webzine Obligement : http://obligement.free.fr
- L'Annuaire Amiga & Pegasos Francophone : http://www.annuaire-amiga.org
- The web portal dedicated to MorphOS Meta-MorphOS.org : http://www.meta-morphos.org
- The vital hardware repair AmigaCenter : http://www.amigacenter.com

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Me too! I wish I could have been there to meet all the guys, but I've just returned from there and it was announced after we had bought our tickets.

Dommage!

I wonder how wide interest it will meet with among the uninitiated/unengaged people.

This is the first video:

http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=9PJN9tEb2Ng

It shows a touchscreen connected to a Sam440ep with AmigaOS 4.1.

Thanks to Rigo for writing the driver!

Stay tuned...

Greetings from Colmar!

Nice setup in that video. Is that a hint to what market Acube is aiming the SAM at?

Hollywood would currently be the easiest way to create content for such a setup. Does Hollywood have the ability to run in "kiosk mode", password protected etc? (I have it here, but never had the time to really get into it yet).

Anyway the kiosk market is interesting as it really doesn't matter what OS is used as long as it does the job.
Question is just if OS4 does the job yet. Most kiosk systems I have worked with is browser based and I guess thats what people will expect to work with?

Anyway, complete kiosk systems are usually ridiculous expensive so at least the price of the SAM board really wouldn't do much harm in such a setup.
