Internet News   Internet News : Aros-Exec down for a while
   posted by saimon69 on 3-Apr-2009 18:46:54 (2758 reads)
Due to recent security issues the website aros-exec is not reachable. For any questions and technical issues concerning AROS and Icaros, users can resort to http://www.arosworld.org/ for the meantime.

This is a shame since I like to browse aros-exec, especially the development posts. I'm not sure I agree with the word "resort" being used with the arosworld site.

It's only for me looks pretty easy to have domen/hosting and just erase all 'securety problems' part from html/php code ? I.e. it's take only 1 hour for sure, but problem for weeks already. Nobody from owners of aros-exec wan't fix it ?

@Saimon69
I think the following would have been a little better : "In the mean time users can post any questions and technical issues concerning AROS and Icaros at http://www.arosworld.org."

It's really not a big deal. I just think using the word "resort" makes it sound like no one would want to go to arosworld.org unless they absolutely had to.

Just to clarify, AROSWorld.org is a fine site and has been up for some time. So feel free to make yourself at home there.
