Hardware News   Hardware News : Why to change a winning team ?
posted by unimon on 15-Apr-2009 19:16:20 (2565 reads)
Why to change a winning team, the configuration "THE RED ONE F", is based on the famous mini-tower, which has already made the happiness of our AmigaOne and Pegasos II customers.

(*) = New (02.04.09): ACube-Systems offers now 2 versions of the SAM FLEX, in 667MHz and 800MHz (667MHz & selected board, overclocked)!

Very compact, while being generous, this elegant case in metal 0.8, allies robustness and flexibility. In its sober dress Black-Silver, enhanced by a new "design by RELEC", it will know how to point out on your office desk!

Proposed configurations

We are proud of this new integration, which confers at your board FLEX the adapted possibilities to its flexibility. That you keep the proposed configuration or that in the future you decide to adapt it to your needs, you can take advantage of foreseen and available places to add a hard disk, more RAM or one or two compatible extension cards. The tower also allows the installation of a multicard reader under a trapdoor in front.

Like the SAM440ep, the motherboard FLEX contents itself with a passive cooling, the level of noise of this configuration will be lower.

For the same reasons, the hard disk SATA was chosen in a more silent series.

On the other hand, its performances remain superior to the average, with 36 Go, 7200rpm, 8.9ms and 16MB of cache memory. We are certain that this configuration is going to satisfy quite those who waited for a more flexible alternative to THE RED ONE and for whom the sizes and the mobility are not a priority!

Soon, we shall update this page, with products, photos and options. At the moment, ask us for information by email.

As information the price of our configurations 512MB:

THE RED ONE F 667MHz CHF 1100.-
& 1GB RAM = CHF 1155.-
THE RED ONE F 800MHz CHF 1170.-
& 1GB RAM = CHF 1235.-

You can place order of your future configuration; the delivery should take place about 20-25th April !

The English version of the site is planned.
