| Oh, I wish. I am still on death watch with my old pal Doberman. I never thought he would live this long. The vet told me last month that my dog would not survive if I left town. The dog turned 13 last April and is now the oldest dog I have ever had. He has heart failure now and is on 14 pills a day plus one shot.
He has separation anxiety and will be destructive if left alone in my house or vehicle. The doggy day cares no longer want him around. I go grocery shopping at 5 a.m. Sunday morning when the store opens. That way the parking lot and store are empty. I can get in and out fairly quickly. I have a doctor's appointment this next Wednesday and my sister is coming over here to sit with him so I can be free. He has really become a problem, but I would never do anything to hasten his passing.
