I thought it was a good, balanced review. She pointed out the positive things and also described the rough edges, without straying away from technology and falling into a politican discussion like we've seen so often. I don't know why this site's news item has to say "Eugenia has no Amiga background" unless there is an attempt to suggest that she isn't qualified to review the product, but personally I'm happy to see a review from an objective and well-qualified reviewer (she's an OS enthusiast with experience in lots of operating systems). Actually I expected her to be more critical than she was, and was a little surprised the review was as positive as it was.

She rightly recognized that the Pegasos is meant to be a multi-OS hardware platform; I'm glad this was brought out.

All in all, a balanced, well-done review, in my opinion.

@ gary_c

That's a rather strange suggestion. What I meant to say is what I said, that she hasn't got an Amiga background. That you interpret this negatively has to do with the interpreter and not with me.

IMO the fact that she has no Amiga background should be seen in a positive light. We have seen some reviews from people with a clear Amiga background already, so reading a review from an outsider as qualified as Eugenia is valuable to me.

Oh, OK. Then we're in agreement. Sorry for the wrong interpretation.
