Good read... Too bad that the remarks below just go the same old way they always do from the "select few". So predictable, I almost wonder why Ben even bothered.

Yup, a very good interview. There were a few crap comments made below, but at least the moderators seem to be in place.

I see a Bill Buck interview is up next. Now THERE'S something which could easily end up in a flamewar. I am currently in the process of having my arms sawn off, so that I won't post any of the highly flammable questions springing to my mind right now.

Hello Kay,

I have a better idea, just plug-out your keyboard.

Btw, I remember the first weeks with my AmigaOne
where i had done several times the whole installation
of suse linux and kde only with the keyboard.

De groetjes, Dirk.

@Herewegoagain
The only thing that will stop the usual set of nasty comments from the usual people is the successful release of AmigaOS 4.0. The passionate vocal minority are tired of talk and have lost faith in the companies involved so nothing else will do.

It is probably best just to ignore them and not fret about it.

@hooligan

You are probably right....I just thought it was in poor taste for those few to come in and start with the same old junk... But as Kay has pointed out, the moderators did step in and do their job. And Wayne even set things straight, so I give them credit. They are doing a better job lately.

@ssolie

I know you are right. I have to try hard not to reply to some posts. Like Kay said, I may have to saw my arms off (or at least tie them up) to keep from replying. Actually, I'll just skip Bill's interview altogether.

I must be getting jaded, because I didn't think the comments
were all that bad. But even Wayne stepped in to "set the
ground rules", so I suppose I just missed something...

... Either that or I have become so adept at blatantly ignoring
certain posters that I don't even notice it myself anymore...

@Slimjim

I think the latter.
In my view you have conducted yourself in a manner that is beyond reproach by anoyone.

IMO you are a rolemodel for the entire community in how to behave and treat others, as well as in your thoughtful and intelligent post design.

@all
The interview was a good piece on info and I am also impressed at the way wayne handled moderation.I have criticized him in the past, and now its time to give the credit where its due.

Didn't get an answer for my suggestion at amiga.org .. so... maybe continue the interviews once a month till OS4 is out, and maybe a couple months after that? Would be a great way to interact and head OS4 forward, as not everybody is on mailinglists to ask questions that might be unclear to them.

Kees did an excellent job and I have much faith that he will do so for future interviews as well.

Too bad the release of AmigaOS 4.0 didn't really stop the comments, but it did make them more rediculous...
