Excellent news! I've used WHDload for years now, so there's no excuse for me not to register it.

As a very small incentive, anyone who can give at least another 2 Amiga users a lift into the venue, gets in for free plus a free cuppa.

Choices are Stansted, Gatwick, Luton or Heathrow.
Is there an airline that flies from near you to one of those 4?

The London airports (Gatwick & Heathrow) might be more convenient from a transfer/rail link point of view.

@Rudei

Stansted is probably best from a rail link POV as I *think* it is on the same line as one of the Enfield stations... but that station may well be the other side of Enfield, not sure what the nearest one to the venue is.

Rats! I'll be at Heathrow on 8 December, but I can't stick around for 4 days.

Enfield Chase station is only a short walk up the hill from the venue. Enfield Town station is a short bus ride away, and covered by the 121 (towards Turnpike Lane) and 307 (towards High Barnet) bus routes.

If we land on the Stansted airport, how far away is the fair area? and what is the easiest way to get there?

Its a bit of a distance but not too difficult.

From Stanstead, get the Stanstead Express to Liverpool Street Station.
From there change and get the Train to Enfield Town. (then its just a very short bus ride away) - Or you could walk it in around 10 mins

Thank you Mikey for this information.

Can you recommend any cheap hotels that would be near your fair area?

Not really, never stayed in one in the area.

I would recommend a cheap bed and breakfast. you don't really need anymore right?
Try this place, its the nearest to the Church hall I can find.
http://www.bedandbreakfasts.co.uk/propertysearch.asp?query=EN2+8BG&force=&nomap=#D110138 (I don't know what its like or how much they charge)

I am going into Stanstead to pick up someone else already, otherwise I would give you a lift, but I only have a little car

Anyone else passing Stanstead?

No problem, there are probably two of us coming and we are planning to get to stanstead on Friday night, because that is the cheapest flight for us.

And just one more dum question, are the trains going between stanstead - Liverpool street station-Enfield town all night long?

Thank you for your help.

Yes I am. Its original, unusual, well known to every, ex users... Can be modular... So yes...
If purpose is just to show ... then it is harder to forget it, only that...

Walker is also symbolic name for the case_Amiga walking again.
That is last project before total crash and dark period...
So it have much reasons to produce it and continue Amiga saga..
I can bet that it will be top seler if someone produce it..
And for my taste it is not ugly, toaster remind me on food :) so njammmm
