Dirct link to PDF would have been appreciated. The mag was bit short (two pages) but at least I had something to do at the work...

Interview with Hans was interesting to read , but in others .. feels are bad: No good border canvas, some really funny typos in so short text , like "INTERVIEW WITH MINIGL HANS". Some time some text not bolded right (in end in interview for example). And that texts about Stargus, are start to be really funny. What the problem just finish normally port of that game ? You already works on it 1 year ?:) It's like you write about what you write about you write when you write when you write.

In short: unprofessional, fast done, and for so short (2 pages) pdf magazine .. well, no my cup of tea 100%. sorry.

I concur with Itix that a direct link would be appreciated, because the web site is quite hard to find stuff (could do with a redesign).

But the actual (2 page) "magazine" was an interesting read, particularly the inteview with Hans. Didn't notice any spelling/syntax errors, certainly nothing that spoiled it!

Oh, and PLEASE get rid of italics from the PDF magazine - it makes it much harder to read, and was quite a strain on my eyes.

@ kas1e

Sorry to say, but the Monthly Page is a spare time thing at the moment, and free, FREE, and anything that is free does not neccessarily have to look and feel sellable now does it. Yes using Pagestream 4.

BTW, as for Stargus, that is on the coders side, and you think he has only been busy doing that, then you are out on the left field my friend, Hes been busy doing multiple other projects, and not all for BlitterWolf, as he is the co-ordinator of AUG Club as well, not to mention helping other fellow amigans on here from time to time so I hear him say, so,

If you want something better, do it yourself, if you just want to read up on information then Monthly Page is exactly supposed to be that, Information on other fellow Amigans, and what they are doing, what they are using, etc.

@ The rest

Thank you for the compliments, I know this issue was no where near as well done, or concentrated on as the last issue, but I still appreciate the nice comments of people that appreciate reading up on othe Amigans lives in the interviews we do.

Cheers

Already do, There is. And of course also for free, and of course also free time project.

Just strange that ppls say on 2 page PDF mag "thanks". Looks like today everything on amiga already "thanks" by default :) Make it better, design it better, and spend a bit more time. Then maybe it will be indeed normal. For now, it's just fast work, like 2-5 hours per 4 weeks.

But in general if some ppls are happy by it, then why not. Just you must to know that making good quality stuff, it's better than making low quality stuff.

But he never says that was a complete Mag. He says Like title "Monthly page". Why don't you work together on the next issue of the vague. Could be an interesting idea, isn't it? I would like to see more issue of your nice project.

@Gebrochen:

keep up the work, i think its a nice effort and i appriciate your work on this mag.

if you ever need more material or whatever, feel free to contact me (either via PM or mail).

@kas1e

in all honesty, critic is good but i somewhat think you're overdooing it a little and i bet it's an language barrier (based on earlier posts from you and so on) , anyway we all ain't the same and yes his monthly mag is not exactly prof work or whatever but it's a usergroup/club effort and all such efforts are nice and well it bring us back to the old days.

ps:i still remeber when Commodore User (long before it became CU AMIGA) when it came as a news paper and was like 6 sheets of paper and everything was done by normal people :)

@ kas1e

Incorrect, 4 weeks to learn programs,do testing, research, help others,

NOT 4 weeks for PDF magazine, that is not the idea behind having created BlitterWolf.

Infact, in all honesty, I had no Amiga OS experience since 1995 when the last time I had turned on my A1000 with workbench 1.3, for playing purposes only, never really used design programs until recently. I thought everybody knew this by now in our community, with my background?

Anyway, IF YOU HAVE noticed, you are under our MAGAZINES tab, have been for a while, as a link, that is yet another idea behind our web site, to allow fellow amigans coming back onto the scene, to know all the current mags, working software on os4.1 onwards, etc.

Ultimately, I did it to keep myself and others around me interested in potentially creating software, nothing was ever promised or set in stone, it has all been done for the community.
