Question is do I risk bringing my system along???

Yeah you should be fine - it's not like the old days of the Classics where moving them was an occupational hazard as to whether they'd work again when you arrived at your destination

Yes, it would be great it see a Sam460 with OS4 running on it . My tiny Sam440 will probably be green with envy though!
We have some spare monitors, so you do NOT need to bring your own. But keyboard & mouse would be a good idea.

I'm sure OS4 runs just as smoothly on your SAM440, if you can provide a monitor that would be good, the one I have here is borrowed from Robert (Total Amiga editor and friend).
