Events   Events : Amiga Eastern Meeting 2011, Poland
posted by DiskDoctor on 16-Jun-2011 18:44:45 (2888 reads)
Amiga Eastern Meeting 2011 will take part near Biale lake, close to Wlodawa, lubelskie, Poland. This place is close to the eastern border which makes it uneasy to get to. The only option is actually going there in a car, which makes it an event for Polish people, mostly.

However this very event is in relative proximity of some other countries, namely Ukraine, Belarus, Slovakia or even Russia - Kaliningrad Oblast. Perhaps someone would come too so I write this just in case.

More details (in Polish): http://aem.fatmagnus.ppa.pl/.

The event is scheduled on 16/17 July this year. Event has an entry fee but BBQ is planned too.

What do you mean? It's not my party at all, just my piece of news.

My party will have come though, this year possibly, within neighbouring location (gotta get an Amiga first, twice the fun w'Amiga) .

Thx DiscDoctor for posting news about AEM. As you wrote, our meeting place is in a quite good location for peoples from Eastern Europe countries. If someone would like to come on meeting, I can serve help to find accommodation (if it will be neccesary).

Here's a map:

http://aem.fatmagnus.ppa.pl/lokalizacja.php

It doesn't hurt to post this stuff. If I could somehow swing it I'd love to come.

However the first step is always to know about it.

I've been wanting to do a trip into Byelorus and the Ukraine for some time now. This is slap bang in the middle.

No, it's different location than yours.

Just type coordinates in google maps: 51.4937, 23.541533.

I just corrected the map link using the location maps on the website.

Didn't realise the page was so comprehensive.

Well done.
