Aminet has now been online for 20 years,the date Aminet first went online was the of January 16th Of January 1992.

Just a few days ago Aminet passed 80.000 files.
Thats 2 milestones in 2012 and an amazing feat.

I first met Aminet in form of Aminet Set CDs in 1997. It was great source of useful software then and I hope it will remain as one of the most important Amiga pages even in future.
