software MorphOS   software MorphOS : MorphOS: U1Synth
   posted by g_kraszewski on 30-Aug-2012 19:41:26 (2545 reads)
A simple audio synthesizer U1Synth is a "sideefect" of MorphOS.pl bounty for adding media encoding API to Reggae library. Its synthesis engine is rather simple, it just shapes a sine wave with adjustable ADSR envelope. The main purpose of U1Synth is to serve as example of using Reggae encoders API, writing Reggae custom classes and just an example of good MUI programming style. For this reason the program is released with source code on BSD license.

Awesome

I hope maybe someone can pick up the concept project and make a cool full blown soft synth. Gonna have fun playing with it.

It turned out that I've forgot to pack one critical Reggae class in the archive, which causes saving to file not working. I've uploaded updated 1.1a version to MorphOS Files. Just re-run installation, or copy audiopcm.encoder manually.
