Internet News   Internet News : IntuitionBase is Back!
   posted by eliyahu on 7-Sep-2012 13:57:45 (3322 reads)
The premier resource for next-generation Amiga users is back after a long semi-hiatus! With more than 140 applications added to the software database, new entries in our hardware compatibility database, new articles, and more, IntuitionBase is back and better than ever.

Click read more:

We hope to maintain IntuitionBase as a great resource for knowing what works on OS4, what doesn't, and so forth, but we need your help. We want to know about your printers, ethernet cards, video cards, classic applications, and favorite native applications. We're interested in publishing any tips and tricks you might have about how to get the most out of your Amiga NG system.

So come on over, take a look around again, and help us update our compatibility databases with your favorite OS4-compatible software and hardware peripherals. We're still in the process of updating the site, so some links may still be stale, and we're in the process of adding plenty of updated articles about more recent Amiga NG computers, but, come check us out in the interim.

By the way we hope to see you all at Amiwest in Sacramento this year, where IntuitionBase will have a vendor's table complete with a demonstration system loaded with tons of great native and classic applications, sample Amiga Future magazines, and a friendly representative to help answer any questions about those curious about making the move to next-generation Amiga computing. See you there!

I don't see them on the list. Have they confirmed?

@Number6

yup. i'll be representing intuitionbase at the show this year. sent in the vendor form to brian a while ago, and recently sent him a quick update. hopefully we'll be on the site soon. this is all in the past few days as i wanted to get the site updated a little before i sent out announcements to AWN and elsewhere.

Gotcha.

Still a good place to drop the general reminder.
All exhibitors need to confirm their presence with Brian before he will officially add you to the listings. He's particular about this. Heh.

Oh..and can you confirm table cost for exhibitors? I don't see this figure anywhere yet.

@number6

originally i was thinking of just bringing a SAM with me to add to the SACC table, but decided to do a little more this year and under the intuitionbase banner. so i've sent in my exhibitor's form and so forth as requested. the table fee for exhibitors this year is $75.

Excellent news!

As an aside, Javascript support for NetSurf (at least in a basic incarnation) will be here sooner than you think I will give a quick demo of it at ANT this weekend - it is, as I say, very basic but I'd like to show that it is coming. Dynamic rendering of pages is quite a way off, so what it will be able to do in the first released version is going to be pretty limited.
