@imagodespira

I checked the demo version and bought it straight away.
Finally a decent little game using the AmigaOS modern features!
Great!

Also great about the upcoming platform, it does indeed look great!

Amont the smaller games you are going to release there is any change you will consider a modern and visually pleasant mahjong game?
I've tried the one on OS4depot which is based on the Allegro library but it does somehow look old and clunky.

Thanks all for your support, for trying the game, buying the game and also many many thanks for donations.

Some Answers:

@Phantom #10:
I will look to the gamerCard these days. The current one is just the first try to make an image from xml based informations in php. Many people want a smaller version of it. I will look into it, perhaps i make some versions where users can pick the favorite one. Normally the game icons should show the last played games, but it does not work right in this state...

@kamelit0 #12:
On development side we (Frank, GoosMc Guile) uses Cubic IDE with standard c++, auming to use native functions from the OS. For graphics i must use a Win7 PC/Tablet. I paint on a Asus EP121 Tablet directly on the device using "Sketchbook Pro" from Autodesk, great software for around 50 Euros. To bring gfx in the game we use a own xml based engine, so i have on left side my PC with an html editor wich can save the file directly on a ftp, On Amiga Side i have a ftp server and the started game. AmigaOS can observe folder and file changes, so i type the xml on PC, save to ftp and on Amiga the result is shown without starting the game/engine again. I can so build my levels instantly and fast... hope you understand my words, perhaps i find the time to record a video how it works. On Icon side we ask tommysamme who send us the game icons, have seen it on this weekend meeting here, he uses gimp on Amicygix for this.

@Rob #16:
A Frog Game is done around 90%, we must do catalog files for localisation, than it is done. Last weekend on the german meeting in bad bramstedt we played with some users, they give us some tips for things we want to include this week. Then some optimisations, but small things to do.

PigGame:
Hope to find the time to make a small video how the first tests runs on our Sam440, the pig runs and it is nice parallax scolling. the character size is not final, just inserted and nothing more. Here also the first time for me to make a walk cycle, the pig runs with 10 different frames/images. not perfect but hope you like it ;)

BPPC/CSPPC:
We don´t own a classic amiga, but the engine should work. It is skaleable from our fullHD graphics down to any resolutions. Then it also uses smaller textures to save memory. Our other games works fine on classics. on the new game, levels are xml based. so i can simply reduce the layers of scrolling and merge some to make it playable on lower devices. Our plan is to make 3 configurations for a smooth gameplay on all devices. Hope it will run well on classics. Perhaps we release a short demolevel where the pig runs, but first some other things to do.

EntwicklerX:
Since August 1st, we can develop in fulltime and we hope it runs well the next 100 years ;) We can´t forget the other platforms (android, ios, windows), we need them to earn money. But now at fulltime working we can put the Amiga as a normal platform besice the other ones. We need to be a commercial plattform (amiboing.de) to get the time to develop more things. Amiga is a very small market (if we can say this is a market ;) ) but every sold unit gives us time to spend on amiga development, not only on weekend and sparetime, with our self employement also in normal working ours. We know the current releases are small projects but we want to bring bigger things step by step. Smaller games will come because we need them on all platforms for living.

We have a huge list of ideas and games we want to make, some will come, some not ;) I want to make a platformer game (the pig is the first step), also a nice shooter with nice parallax scorlling (i love parallax ;) ). Smaller things will be a game we have already on other platforms, called "balance blox" (look in android market), hope we can make it in the next time.

All games on Amiga will include a online highscore and bigger things also the awards system.

So, much text but i hope to clear some things ;)

Thanks again for your support, we need it to go ahead.

Best Regards,
Thomas (imagodespira) and Frank (Goos)

@imagodespira

A request for the next release, can you add a depth gadget into the game window ?

For "depth gadget" i mean:

http://wiki.amigaos.net/images/3/39/LibFig4-1.png

So we can select/deselect easily the game window if other window are above/below the game one

@Samo79: Goos will look at it, perhaps he finds a solution (the problem is if a window in background is activated, it slows down and if you just hit the depth gadget the window is activated).

@ imagodespira

Thanks for your detailed answers, really appreciated. It's really nice to see that GamerCard isn't forgotten. It could be really nice to have a card similar to the many PSN cards around (you can get enough ideas from there).

Also your award system is similar to trophies for PS3, so it's a motivation for a player to play more and more frequently to earn these trophies. Another nice idea is if a player collects a corresponding amount of trophies/points to have the possibility to download some other exclusive stuff from your site. Well, ideas for the future of course.
