software OS4   software OS4 : SketchBlock 1.7 Out now!
posted by broadblues on 25-Oct-2012 17:01:47 (2158 reads)
After watching eliyahu's fine presetation on AmigaOS4 software (including a brief mention of SketchBlock) I'm proud to announce that version 1.7 has just been uploaded to os4depot.

http://os4depot.net/?function=showfile&file=graphics/edit/sketchblock.lha

This one is quite a big update with lots of good stuff added.

From animbrushes to experimental path support, experimental font support, improved support scripts using ProAction GUI's and much more.

For best results you need to install ProAction 1.4 and PIL 1.7
PIL is currently only used for the export option, so if you are happy with ILBM export you don't need it.

Small donation made, I will make another one whenever I can afford some working OS4 hardware again.

It's possible to make donations for Andy's developments by clicking the paypal donate button at his site:

A great program!

One thing I noticed after double clicking its icon, just before the Layers/Sketch tools & Project windows appear:
Quote:

Button Loading failed 5E594C00 5F087E18 5FFFA800
pencusror select load failed 1

What is supposed to mean ? Am I missing any file/lib?

@Cass

Sounds like you have an old AISS

SketchBlock: will still function but, one or two buttons will be replaced by text, 'P' doe Paint etc.

Maybe one or two of the custom mouse cursors may be missing too.
